Mark Collins, Ed.D.

President/Lead Consultant

Dr. Mark Collins is a college administrator, entrepreneur, educator, and speaker with more than 30 years of professional experience.  Currently, Dr. Collins is the Dean of the Social Sciences & Physical Education Division of Valencia College’s East Campus in Orlando, Florida.  This is one of the largest academic divisions at Valencia, which offers more than 400 classes and has an enrollment of more than 10,000. 


Prior to moving to Florida, he lived and worked in the Chicagoland area.  This time in his professional career is noted for work life and educational accomplishment.  While in Chicago, Dr. Collins completed his Master’s in Leadership, his Doctorate in Adult Education and left McDonald’s Corporation as the Master Trainer and totally changed career paths to become a college dean.


Throughout his career Dr. Collins has been noted as an inspirational and focused leader who has high expectations and clear vision.  He brings his humor, knowledge and unique view of the world into his interactions and inspires others to look at the positive aspects of achievement in their own lives.

Prisca Collins, Ph.D.

Lead Evaluator/Consultant

Prisca M. Collins is an associate professor and Director of Community engagement in the School of Physical Therapy at Florida Southern College (FSC).  She holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences with a focus on Policy, Organization and Management Studies.  Dr Collins is a program evaluator with a focus on culturally responsive evaluation, and a licensed physical therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience.  Her research is focused on the use of community-based participatory approaches to improving access of healthcare services for underserved populations and leadership development for social justice.

She has published scholarly articles on the training of culturally responsive evaluators committed to social change & social justice; and addressing disparities in PT & OT workforce distribution. She currently leads assessment efforts in the School of Physical Therapy at Florida Southern College and has served as evaluator for the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Center for Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment (CREA) conferences since 2016.


She played a key role in the development & implementation of the curriculum for the American Evaluation Association's Graduate Education Diversity Internship program, which has since trained more than 60 evaluators of color serving in various capacities in private & government sectors.

Maria McClain, ED.D

Consultant/Professional Coach

Maria is an experienced Human Resources leader, a seasoned professional trainer, a certified professional coach and a registered Organizational Development Consultant.  She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management and a Master of Science in Organizational Development. 


She recently earned a Doctor of Education in Leadership, Learning and Stewardship from University of St. Francis.  She has coached, consulted and trained in public sector organizations and higher education.  Dr. McClain’s vision for learning is a reflection of her personal and professional learning goals.  That is to create an environment where individuals feel safe, love learning, and continue to learn no matter what age. 


She is passionate about helping people develop, grow and find their way.  She finds it rewarding knowing she was instrumental in guiding someone through their journey that ultimately resulted in fulfillment for them.   She believes helping people to see their potential is magical.

Stanton Reed, CPA

Consultant/Mentor

Stanton services as a Valencia College tenured business and accounting professor and a facilitator for
Valencia College’s Peace and Justice Institute, Bridges for Success cohort program, and Molding Men for
Tomorrow. Additionally, Stanton serves as a slowing guide for the Slowing Institute in Orlando, Florida.


In addition to his role as a tenured professor, Stanton served as Valencia College’s interim campus
president for Osceola, Lake Nona, and Poinciana campuses. Prior to this role, he served a three-year
commitment as college wide faculty President-Elect, President, and Past-President. His experiences in
these various roles of service have broaden his understanding of organizational systems, higher
education, human relationships, and the importance of building teams with accountability and empathy.


Stanton has served as Vice President of Finance/Chief Financial Officer for Hospice of the Comforter,
Senior Executive/Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer for Southeastern Conference of Seventh Day
Adventist, Associate Vice-President of Finance/Chief Operating Officer non-academic programs for
Oakwood University, Director of Business Development for Orlando Regional Healthcare System (now
Orlando Health), and Chief Financial Officer for Loma Linda University School of Medicine. These
experiences deepen his practice of fiscal responsibility and human stewardship.


Stanton earned his undergraduate degree in accounting and business administration from Oakwood
University in Huntsville, Alabama. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Rollins College
Crummer Graduate School of Business in Winter Park, Florida. He is a retired Certified Public Accountant
(CPA) in the state of Florida. Over his career of 40 years of service, he has worked and taught in the
fields of education, business, and accounting. Stanton enjoys engaging and learning with others using
story, vulnerability, and transparency. His watch phrase is “Hard Work Earns Results”.
